VTV.vn - Next year, the National Vietnam Buddhist Sangha will host the 16th United Nations Day of Vesak at the Tam Chúc Pagoda in Kim Bảng District, Hà Nam province.

As this is an important diplomatic event, which will help enhance Vietnamese Buddhism's role in international integration, the pagoda is expected to be completed in May 2019 when the UN Day of Vesak takes place.

Vesak 2019 is expected to make Vietnam's culture and people more well-known internationally, while also demonstrating Vietnam's policies of freedom of religion and belief.
