Vietnam prepares for APEC 2017

The hosting of APEC 2017 will be an ideal way of showcasing the country’s increased international reputation, according to APEC 2017 National Committee Chairman, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh when speaking at the 3^rd APEC plenary session held on Friday morning in Hanoi.

At the meeting, the deputy prime minister emphasized 2016 as a priority year to complete the preparations for the summit. Focus should be given to preparing facilities and related issues. To ensure this, the deputy prime minister asked ministries, departments and related agencies to complete the work programme with clear focus and clear responsibilities to implement tasks in the most efficient way./.
