Vietnam plans vaccine production plant construction

The project, which will promote safe and efficient vaccine production for humans, must be reported to the Prime Minister before this December.

Vietnam is one of only a few countries capable of producing vaccines for humans. Vaccines produced domestically serve not only the expanded national immunisation campaign but also export activities.

Recently the World Health Organisation recognised Vietnam’s vaccine management system as meeting international standards.
