These flights will be bringing back Vietnamese citizens from Japan, Taiwan (China), the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, the U.S., France, Spain, UAE, Qatar, Germany, South Korea, and Russia.
The Consular Department is asking the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam to work with airlines and come up with a specific flight schedule so the plan can be rolled out immediately after it's approved by the Prime Minister.
The Consular Department will then notify Vietnam's representative agencies abroad. Airlines will also have to promptly publish prices and baggage standards.
