Vietnam, Philippines foreign ministers hold talks

The two leaders agreed to foster the strategic partnership between the two countries, fully support Philippines to host the ASEAN summit in 2017, and Vietnam to host the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation in the same year. The two foreign ministers urged to co-operate on the establishment of the ASEAN Community and ensure it presents a strong voice to promote peace and security in the East Sea.
