She will be chosen to open the Vietnam International Fashion Week 2016 that will take place in Hanoi on November 1-6. The final night of this year’s event themed “Break the rules” saw a strong competition between the top three including Huy Quang, La Thanh Thanh and Ngoc Chau. Model Thanh Hang was chosen as the host of the 7th season of the reality TV model search, together with fashion designer Ly Quy Khanh, photographer Samuel Hoang and Ha Do, one of the leading fashion creative directors in Vietnam.
Successful models of the last contests including Hoang Thuy, Tra My, Mau Thanh Thuy, Phuong Ly and Mai Giang have taken part in fashion shows abroad, appeared in leading fashion magazines.
‘Vietnam’s Next Top Model’ is the Vietnamese version of the US reality television show ‘America’s Next Top Model’ by CBS Studios International. Contestants between 18 and 25 years of age, of minimum height 1.65m compete in a catwalk contest, present their talents and skills and participate in an interview with jury members. The show is an opportunity for thousands of contestants to compete for the title of Vietnam’s Next Top Model and a platform to start a career in the modeling industry.
A total of 18 male and female models who qualified for the finals of the series of Vietnam’s Next Top Model live together in a house for two months, while cameras record their interpersonal relationships. The jury then chooses the winning contestant.
