Vietnam - Netherlands cooperation in climate change

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung - Chairman of the Vietnam Sub-Committee emphasized that Vietnam and the Netherlands established a strategic partnership on climate change adaptation and water management nine years ago. This was an important milestone in the relationship between the two countries. With experience and strength in managing water resources and sustainable livelihood models adapting to climate change, the Netherlands will continue to bring valuable lessons for Vietnam to build an effective interdisciplinary apparatus.

The meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee also updates the implementation of the Vietnam - Netherlands Strategic Partnership Agreement on climate change adaptation and water management.
