At the launching ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam urged Vietnamese people to use the new applications to help prevent the epidemic from spreading. People who use the N.COVI application are provided with official information about the situation of the epidemic as well as official instructions.
The health authorities will use the application's data to determine which cases need attention so they can support them immediately. The two applications can be easily installed on smartphones.
People can provide their health status in the "universal health declaration" section and regularly update it in the "health monitoring" section. All personal information is kept confidential and is strictly managed.
