Vietnam, Laos strengthen investment co-operation

At the meeting between the two countries, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc stressed that the two ministries have made great efforts to make full use of Vietnam’s ODA in Laos. He also said that Vietnam is willing to share experience with Laos in socio-economic development strategies for the 2016-2025 period.

The Deputy Prime Minister hoped that the two ministries will work more closely to promote investment co-operation between Laos and Vietnam. He also asked Laos to create more favourable conditions for Vietnam’s projects that were set to be launched in the country. Somdy Duoangdy said that the two ministries have shared experiences in many fields and asked Vietnam to continue helping Laos in constructing economic development plan in the 2016-2020 period with a vision to 2030.
