VTV.vn - The Vietnamese Embassy in India joined other countries’ agencies at the 2018 International Bazaar in New Delhi, India, on December

The annual charity event, which was held by the Commonwealth Women’s Union in New Delhi (DCWA), featured the participation of nearly 50 diplomatic agencies and organisations in India.

Vietnam’s booths showcased numerous products imbued with the countries’ national identities such as coffee, conical hats, handicrafts and traditional food including pho (noodle soup) and nem ran (fried spring roll).

Vietnamese Ambassador to India, Pham Sanh Chau, emphasised that the Vietnamese culture and people have been introduced to international friends through the fair.

The event also contributed to enhancing the cultural exchanges between the participating countries and India.

Most of the proceeds will be donated to charitable activities launched by the DCWA, such as the construction of healthcare stations, playgrounds for children and centres for children with disabilities.
