Vietnam, Japan celebrate 45 years of diplomatic ties

A number of activities will be held in both countries during this special year. These events were kicked off at a launching ceremony hosted by the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam on Tuesday in Hanoi.

On this occasion, the Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam also presented the "Sunrise Medal" to Nguyen Phu Binh, Vice President of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association, and Former Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan for his contributions to the relationship between the two countries over the years.
