Vietnam International Music Competition for Violin and Chamber Music 2019 opens

The 50,000 US dollar competition, the first of its kind, is held to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Vietnam Connection Music Festival and the 65th founding anniversary of VNAM with the participation of contestants from 19 countries around the world. The format of the contest is built in accordance with the standards of most prestigious competitions in the world. After the qualifying round, through video clips, the judges will choose 24 contestants for the main draw (Round 1), then, from them, pick 12 for the semifinals (Round 2) and the best six for the final competition in each category.
