Nearly 10 companies have registered to import live pigs from Thailand to Vietnam. Next week, animal health agencies from both countries will hold online discussion to assess import risks and to agree on hygiene standards and an animal health certificate template. After all conditions have been agreed, Vietnam will approve live pig imports.
