The event was initiated and held by the Ho Chi Minh City Peace and Development Foundation (HPDF) in coordination with Dentsu Redder and Hong Bang International University, with a diverse range of topics related to culture, connection and creativity.
The forum is a venue for Vietnamese talents at home and abroad to share and discuss the country’s continuous development over the past 50 years from a multi-dimensional and multi-faceted perspective.
President of the HPDF Ton Nu Thi Ninh said that the forum aimed to analyse and propose practical solutions to promote the sustainable development of Vietnam in many fields, including economics, culture, education, technology, agriculture, etc.
It is also expected to create opportunities for intellectuals, experts, scientists, cultural and social activists, as well as young people both at home and abroad to contribute their opinions to three interlinked topics: culture, connection, and creativity.
"Vietnam is no longer just the name of a war: Vietnam is a country, with a people rising with strong vitality and its position affirmed in the community of nations. Stemming from the deep belief that after 50 years of reconstruction and development, now is the time for the country and the Vietnamese people to shine and confidently assert themselves and contribute to the efforts of humanity for peace, sustainable development, and happiness," Ninh stressed.
Several seminars and in-depth discussions were held during the event, including the building of the Vietnam brand, the identity of Vietnamese people, imprints of Vietnam, the Vietnamese people and connection with the world, brand building for Vietnamese tourism, the role of agriculture for Vietnam, Vietnamese art on the world map, and others.
