Vietnam exports over US$16 billion goods to US

VTV.vn - Vietnam shipped US$16 billion worth of commodities to the US in the last five months of this year, up 10% year on year, while imports from the country reached nearly US$4 billion, up over 26%.

 

 

The figures, released by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, combined a two-way trade value of nearly US$20 billion during the period, rising by roughly 13%. Vietnam purchased US$1.1 billion worth of computers, electronics and components from the US in the reviewed period, up about 42% compared to last year. These products accounted for the largest proportion of the country’s imports, or nearly 30%.
