Vietnam and Pakistan should work together to further raise the two-way trade value from the current 500 million USD, said Deputy Prime Minister – Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh while receiving Pakistani Deputy Foreign Minister Amjad Hussain B. Sial in Hanoi on August 19.
Deputy Prime Minister – Foreign Minister Minh also spoke highly of the outcomes of the first political consultation held the same day between the two foreign ministries.
For his part, Mr. Amjad Hussain B. Sial affirmed that Pakistan expects to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam, as well as provide mutual support at regional and international forums for the benefits of peace and stability in Asia.
