During a meeting with Bemerd Da Santos, Senior Vice Chairman and CEO of the AES Group, the Deputy Prime Minister said that Vietnam encourages the development of renewable energy production. Mr. Santos praised the Vietnamese government's incentives, saying the US administration is supportive of AES's energy projects in Vietnam. He pledged to work closely with Vietnamese agencies to make current the projects a success, and to expand the group's investment in the development of new sources of energy in Vietnam.
