Vietnam develops cancer treatment using the body’s immune system

A student of Prof. Honjo, Prof. Dr. Ta Thanh Van, Vice President of the Hanoi Medical University, and his colleagues are developing this work with a new approach.

This method has been clinically tested in more than 20 patients, and has initially obtained positive results.

However, the challenge is that the treatment is very expensive, so it is not yet accessible to all patients.
