Although the 2018 annual human rights report of the US Department of State still includes some content that is not reflective of what's happening in Vietnam, experts say the country's efforts and achievements in protecting human rights are undeniable.
Vietnam has always shown its constructive spirit and willingness to exchange opinions with countries, including the US, on subjects of mutual interests and based on mutual respect so that both sides can bolster their bilateral comprehensive partnership.
