Vietnam continues to ensure freedom of press

by VTV430 September 2019 Last updated at 08:18 AM

VTV.vn - Recently, Vietnam has vehemently rejected the content of a report released by the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), which listed Vietnam as one of the ten most censored countries in the world.

This is not the first time the issue of press freedom in Vietnam has been manipulated by hostile forces and international organizations to distort the truth and criticize Vietnam, with the aim of lowering Vietnam's reputation in the international arena. The report has also deliberately misled people that "freedom of the press" is an absolute right, which hostile forces use to spread biased and inaccurate information and stir up hatred.

However, Vietnam will never accept absolute and disingenuous freedom that affects national security, social morality, and infringements upon the interests of the people.
