While the Vietnamese online retail sector only reached 0.4 billion USD in revenue, the Indonesian online market managed to make 4 times this number. Meanwhile, Thailand's online industry now possesses the fastest growth in the region. The rate of purchases for televisions, fish sauce and electrical appliances continues to increase over 100% every year. The General Statistics Office of Vietnam has revealed that 70% of online transactions have been made by consumers from major cities such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Experts predict that the Vietnamese e-commerce sector will reach revenue of 7.5 billion USD by 2025.
