Vietnam, China defence ministers hold telephone talks

The conversation marked the establishment of a direct communication line between the two ministries and the 65th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two nations.

According to the two ministers, bilateral defence co-operation in recent years have produced practical results, helping maintain an environment of peace, stability, co-operation and development in the region. The two also underscored the need to further promote defence co-operation between Vietnam and China with a focus on intensifying exchanges at all levels and implementing signed agreements.
