VTV.vn - The inauguration of border markers no. 30, no. 275 and the road connecting two international border gate checkpoints Le Thanh and O Za Dao took place on Saturday in Gia Lai and An Giang Provinces.

The event marks the two countries' determination to build a shared border of peace, friendship, cooperation, and sustainable development. Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen were in attendance.

The two governments believe that by successfully completing demarcation, the two nations can help each other monitor border-related issues more closely, especially smuggling, trade fraud, and disruptive activities, and tackle invasive migration. This will contribute to security and order in border areas, which will promote economic and social development and improve people’s lives.
