Vietnam, Belarus promote national defense cooperation

At the meeting, the Vice State President stated that Vietnam would help Belarus strengthen its relationship with other ASEAN members. She also hopes Belarus will support Vietnam to become a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council from 2020 to 2021.

She also suggested that the two countries should enhance cooperation on technology transfer and weapon development. The Belarusian defense minister spoke highly of the ties between the two countries and promised to carry out the deals signed by both nations.
