Over 700 delegates from legislative and executive bodies, scientific organisations, and non-governmental organisations across the world are joining the two-day event.
The forum aims to highlight women’s increasing role in all aspects of life. Speaking at the forum, Vice Chairperson Tòng Thị Phóng said that for the past few decades, women have assumed a central role in resolving issues of mutual concern in Vietnam, and their rights have constantly been improved. As part of the forum’s agenda, the senior Vietnamese politician will join discussions on women’s role in the economy, global healthcare strategies, and humanitarian causes.
