As such, Vietnam has become one of the countries with the highest economic growth rate in 2020. Meanwhile, neighboring countries such as Indonesia and Thailand have recorded negative growth rates of -5.32% and -12.1%, respectively.
From 2016-2019, Vietnam has been among the top 10 fastest growing countries in the world. In 2018 and 2019, Vietnam’s economic growth rate exceeded 7% despite a slowdown in the global economy.
