Speaking at the event, Vice President Xuan stressed that the Party and State always support and promulgate preferential policies on caring for revolutionary contributors.
While praising the socio-economic achievements of Dong Nai province, she asked local authorities to pay attention to raising the public awareness of patriotism and gratitude for people who rendered services to the country.
It is important to honour outstanding contributors promptly, thus encouraging them to make further efforts to the national construction and defence, she stressed.
Dong Nai province now has more than 52,700 revolutionary contributors who have received regular allowances. The province has actively called on businesses and communities to join hands in caring for national contributors.
