Speaking at the meeting, Thinh praised the achievements recorded by the people and government of Hau Giang, which have created favourable conditions for the task of caring for national contributors to be carried out properly.
She affirmed that Hau Giang is a province with a rich revolutionary tradition and with patriotism and staunchness, the local people made great contributions to the struggle for national liberation and reunification.
The Vice President suggested that Hau Giang province should enhance the awareness of the authorities at all levels, and that of the people, in taking care of those who have made revolutionary contributions.
The leader also said that she expects national contributors from Hau Giang province to continue bringing their tradition into play and make contributions to the current cause of national construction, helping to make the province grow stronger.
