She delivered 100 gift packages worth VND1.5 million each to 100 families of ethnic monitory groups and 100 scholarships to children in Hiep Duc District, along with VND500 million to the district’s Fund for the Poor.
In Duy Xuyen District, the Vice President visited and gifted presents to 100 families of policy beneficiaries, and poor households as well as 100 scholarships to local students.
She also funded VND2.1 billion to support the implementation of social welfares programmes in Quang Nam Province and handed over two social houses, with each having being constructed at a cost of VND50 million, to two disadvantaged families in the district.
On the afternoon the same day, she visited the Dien Nam – Dien Ngoc industrial park in Dien Ban Town, and presented 100 gifts to workers and 50 gifts to children whose parents are working at the park.
During her stay in Quang Nam, the State official also saluted and presented gifts to military officers and soldiers at Cua Dai Border Post in Hoi An City.
