Vibrant Atmosphere at VTV Badminton Tournament 2025

In the joyful spirit of celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 – June 21, 2025) and the Party Congresses at all levels within the VTV Party Committee, the Trade Union of VTV has launched a series of sports events .

The VTV Badminton Tournament 2025, dedicated to staff and union members, served as an exciting playground that fostered connection and promoted internal solidarity among units across the organization. The tournament took place on June 5, 2025, at  the College of Television's multi-purpose gymnasium, drawing nearly 50 athletes from various units who competed in more than 40 vibrant matches. The competition categories included: men's doubles under 45 years old, men's doubles 45 years and older, women's doubles, and mixed doubles.

In her remarks, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Liem, Deputy Chief of the Party and Mass Organization Office and Vice President of the VTV Trade Union, congratulated the athletes and expressed sincere gratitude to the College of Television for providing the venue and supporting the organization of the tournament. She also emphasized the values upheld in the competition: “Solidarity – Integrity – Sportsmanship – Progress”.

After a day of thrilling and competitive matches, the tournament concluded with awards presented to the most outstanding players.

The success of the VTV Badminton Tournament 2025 has laid a strong foundation for the upcoming sports events of the VTV Trade Union. Following this event, the organizing committee plans to host additional tournaments for table tennis and pickleball.

These sports activities organized by the VTV Trade Union are expected to foster a lively competitive spirit and energize VTV staff during this meaningful month of June.
