VASEP proposed measures for removal of EU yellow card
VTV.vn - VASEP has asked to join the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) delegation to work on "IUU" and the "yellow card" with EU and South Korea.

The Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) has proposed a number of measures to overcome the European Commission (EC)'s "yellow card", which was issued to Vietnam as a warning for illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing. In particular, VASEP has asked to join the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) delegation to work on "IUU" and the "yellow card" with EU and South Korea.

Following the action plan of the Program "Marine product enterprises committed to combating IUU fishing", Vietnamese fishery companies have all displayed their list of commitments in combating IUU fishing at the gates and doors of their offices and processing plants.
