U.S deploys air defense systems, troops to Saudi Arabia

Two more Patriot batteries and a THAAD missile defense system will be prepared to go later if needed, and the deployment will involve about 200 troops. The announcement followed an attack on Saudi Arabia that knocked out half of the kingdom's crude oil production. It is unclear whether these new forces will be deployed from US bases in the Middle East or from the United States.
