US Communist Party delegation visits Vietnam

John Bachtell congratulated the Communist Party of Vietnam on the success of the 12th National Party Congress and the socio-economic achievements over the past 30 decades, saying that the Communist Party of the USA will do its utmost to promote US-Vietnam relations.

Trong thanked the US communists for their support during Vietnam’s past liberation struggle as well as the current period of development, adding that Vietnam closely follows the developments of the Communist Party of the USA. In the same day, the CPUSA delegation also had talks with representatives of the Communist Party of Vietnam, led by Chairman of the Party Central Committee's Commission for External Relations Hoang Binh Quan.
