Underprivileged children in Phu Yen receive scholarships

VTV.vn - Vice State President Nguyễn Thị Doan awarded a nearly 14 thousand USD in scholarships to 150 underprivileged children with excellent academic achievements in Phu Yen Province on Wednesday.

There are currently 146 thousand children aged between 7 and 16 in Phu Yen Province, of which 50% are from poor households. The Vietnam Children’s Fund launched by Vice President Doan has helped more than 10 thousands underprivileged children across the country go to school since 2012.
