Un VESAK Day 2019 comes to an end

Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh, dignitaries of Buddhist organisations in the world, together with Buddhist followers, attended the event. Buddhist monk, Professor Phra Brahmapundit, Founder of UN Vesak International Organising Committee, said the Vesak 2019 held in Vietnam was a success. Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh also stressed that the event highlighted the message of peace and solidarity based on Buddhist philosophy. By hosting Vesak, Vietnam has demonstrated its policies to ensure freedom of religion, social equality, and policies to improve people's lives.
