UN Day of Vesak 2019 wraps up after sending message of compassion

Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh, foreign dignitaries, and a number of international and Vietnamese Buddism practitioners attended the closing ceremony.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, in terms of beliefs and religion, Vietnam has consistently implemented the policy of respecting and ensuring religious freedom.

At the closing ceremony, Hà Nam Declaration 2019 was proclaimed to be essential to building, maintaining and developing a sustainable society in the context of an increasingly complex social, political, and economic crisis.

With this statement, the UN day of Vesak 2019 continues to be a symbol of humanitarian peace, friendship, cooperation, social progress, and solidarity.
