Ngan wanted to promote education and training, and science and technology links. She also asked for help to improve the quality of human resources and English for students, Vietnamese overseas students and National Assembly deputies.
Regarding the East Sea issue, the NA Chairwoman said she highly appreciated the EU and G7 announcement, and asked for British contributions to raise the EU's voice in asking related sides to resolve issues through peaceful means in accordance with the international law. Laing said the British government supported the decision of Permanent Court of Arbitration and related sides should follow international law. She also said that in the coming time, the two countries should improve co-operation on education.
