The minister made the comments during a meeting with Vietnamese Ambassador to the UAE Pham Binh Dam who is set to end his term of office to the country.
The minister emphasised that the UAE would like to co-operate and invest in infrastructure, tourism, food security and oil and gas, a field that UAE businesses are skilled in.
Ambassador Pham Binh Dam emphasised that relations between the two countries had become more vivid and firm.
Bost sides agreed the two countries need to take stronger steps to turn potential into collaborative projects that bring real benefits.
