VTV.vn - The program officially started airing in February 2017. Each episode is 60 minutes long and reflects the lives of newly immigrated Vietnamese in Taiwan.

In recent years, Taiwan has seen a surge of immigrants from many countries, with many of them coming from South East Asian countries. Vietnamese is one of the biggest immigrant groups here. And for the first time, a television program just for them is now airing on TV.

A popular Vietnamese song, a play with Vietnamese actors, shows that tackle issues related to the Vietnamese community, This is what the show "Rhythm of Life", currently airing on CCTV's Education Channel, is all about. This is the first entertainment program for Vietnamese people living in Taiwan.

“Residents from Vietnam are one of the biggest groups of South East Asian immigrants in Taiwan. They come from different social classes and have good relations with Taiwanese residents. We want them to integrate well, and help locals understand more about them. This has pushed us to create this program” - said Zhou Bei Yi, Head of Education Division, CCTV.

The program officially started airing in February 2017. Each episode is 60 minutes long and reflects the lives of newly immigrated Vietnamese in Taiwan.

The show even has Vietnamese producers behind it giving their unique perspective on issues.

“More and more Vietnamese have joined our show. Everyone has good work ethic. From the feedback we've gotten so far, we know that viewers have been enjoying the show”- said Zhou Bei Yi.

The Association of Cultural and Artistic Legacy of Vietnam in Taiwan also hopes that this will be the start of many more Vietnamese language programs. The Association is currently working on a Vietnamese language news programme as well as a Vietnamese language teaching program.
