Tropical depression develops into typhoon Pabuk

At 4 pm on Tuesday, the eye of the storm was about 500 kilometers southeast of the Southern region. According to the Beaufort scale, the storm was at level 8 with wind speeds reaching level 10. It's forecast that the storm will maintain these levels until Jan 4. It will move West and then West of Northwest, so it's not expected to hit the mainland. However, it will continue to cause bad weather at sea.
