“Trong” concert – music journey with pure happiness
VTV.vn - Last night (02/11), “Trong” concert took place at the Hanoi Opera House, marking the artistic cooperation between pianist Trang Trịnh and Epiphany from the UK.

The concert introduced the interesting and first ever  combination of Vietnamese folk music and classic music, and shared meaningful musical meassages to audiences.

At “Trong”, pianist Trang Trinh and Epiphany ensemble from the UK present classical works of Bach, Mozart, Rachmaninov,… in the way that each piece of music is connected with a story, a feeling, an experience that everyone might have.

Especially, inspired by two Vietnamese folk songs “Beo dat may troi” and “Trong com”, composer Peter Richards had written a new classical piece for Epiphany and Trang Trinh and it was performed on stage for the first time in the concert.

A ballroom with around 600 audiences shows the attraction of the MCO project. All the money collected after the concert will be contributed to the project.

In the coming time, it’s expected that more free music classes would be opened for underpreviledged children, not just in Hanoi but also in other regions of Vietnam.
