Traditional craft revived through modernisation
VTV.vn - Craft villages can benefit from introducing machines to increase productivity, improve quality and better labour efficiency.
Phu Tan sedge mat weaving village in Phu Yen Province has been able to revive the traditional craft through modernising its equipment. Despite the costs for mat weaving machines, modernisation is still considered the solution to revive the traditional craft and generate stable incomes for workers who are keen to keep this tradition alive.
