Trade deficit with China decreases by $5 bil

VTV.vn - Also at the government's regular March meeting this morning, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said that exports in the first quarter had risen to 22% compared to last year's 15%.

Processing and manufacturing sectors have also witnessed strong growth. Vietnam has a decreased trade deficit with China of over 5 billion US dollars.

Meanwhile, the number of international tourists to Vietnam has risen by about 1 million compared to the same period last year. Although the Consumer Price Index increased by only 2.82%, the prime minister has asked that the government stay alert of inflation due to rising crude oil prices.
