Tra fish exports to UK rise sharply

According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), tra fish exports to the UK hit US$46 million last year, an increase of 13.9 percent against 2014. The figure accounted for 3 percent of total Vietnamese tra fish export turnover, and is also the highest growth rate among markets importing Vietnamese tra fish. This is because the price of Vietnamese fish exported to the UK is significantly higher than other markets, namely Germany, Belgium, and France.
