Tra fish exports to China surge

Vietnam is currently the third largest white-meat fish supplier in the Chinese market after Russia and Norway. Some businesses even invest in tra fish faming zones in China, following the consequences of the US - China Trade War.

Chinese tilapia industry is heavily hurt by the conflict, so there has been a shift to tra fish production. However, tra fish quality in China is much lower than that of Vietnam. Those changes in farming zones and imports of tra fish from China should be considered by Vietnamese exporters.
