Accordingly, from May 15, visitors must buy entrance tickets at ticket counters before entering the old quarter. Tickets remain at their current value of 120,000 VND/ticket for international visitors and 80,000 VND/ticket for domestic visitors.

Ticket sales are open from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the summer and until 9 p.m. in the winter.

To control toll collection, there will be two separate entrances on the main roads to the Old Quarter, one for locals and one for visitors.

Hoi An also plans to expand the “Pedestrian Street and Non-motorized Vehicles” project on the Phan Chu Trinh route. Pedestrian streets and non-motorized vehicles will also run from 9 am to 9:30 pm daily in the summer and until 9 pm in the winter.
