A festival showcasing man hau (plum), a specialty of Moc Chau district in the northern province of Son La, was organised on May 28, according to the district administration.
Moc Chau plum is famous for its sweet, delicious taste. The harvest season usually begins at the start of summer.
This year’s festival features a plum picking contest, plum tastings, sports, and folk games. Participants can also attend information sessions about plum farming. This event helps promote plum products from the local area, and is a chance for people to experience the lives of plum farmers, and enjoy their products right in their own gardens.
