In a move to meet the increasing travel need and bring fresh and interesting experiences, Cuc Phuong National Park launched a night tour on May 4.
The wildlife night tour is open from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. every day of the week, with the last tour of the day starting at 8:45 p.m. The tours span about an hour, traveling by electric car on a 5km journey.
The night tour costs 100,000 VND (3.94 USD) for adults and 50,000 VND for kids.
According to Pham Kien Cuong, director of the Centre for Environmental Education and Service in Cuc Phuong National Park, the tour targets to enhance public awareness of environmental education, and their understanding about nature and wildlife.
To ensure the tour does not affect creatures' natural habitat, there are only about 100 visitors per session, and they can only visit certain areas in the forest, he added.

Starting from the park’s creative space for children, visitors take on a journey traveling along the forest trail and passing through rows of ancient trees by electric car.
During the trip, visitors can immerse themselves in the scenery of millions of fireflies sparkling in the forest, and watch animals such as sika deers and deers, and diverse insects.
Visitors can also see pangolins, striped civets, wild cats, otters, and lorises. As these are nocturnal animals, the tour provides a perfect time for participants to easily observe and learn about these animals.
After about 30-minute travelling, visitors will enter the ancient forest where they can enjoy the fresh air and serenity in the middle of the night. They will then come back to the entrance gate and complete the journey.
In recent years, Cuc Phuong National Park has become a favourite destination for both domestic and foreign tourists. It has been honoured as leading Asia's national park by the World Travel Awards for the fifth consecutive year, from 2019 to 2023.
