The 41st National Television Festival will be held in Hai Phong City from March 15 to 18. This year's festival will judge and rank 11 categories: children's program, documentary, feature film, short feature film, thematic-scientific program, talk show, ethnic minority language program, music and dance program, drama program, drama and digital platform video. In particular, the genre of TV series always attracts the attention of the audience.
At this year's National Television Festival, 15 full-length feature films are competing for awards. Among them, 3 popular VFC films were submitted, including: Loving the Sunny Day (Part 1 - 33 episodes, Part 2 - 54 episodes), 11 Months and 5 Days (46 episodes) and Mind Fight (74 episodes). These are the three works that have recently impressed VTV audiences. In particular, all three of them were ranked in the top 5 of the VTV Awards 2022 in the category of Impressive Drama.
Loving the Sunny Day (Director: Bui Tien Huy, Meritorious Artist Vu Truong Khoa) tells the family life of Mrs. Nga (Meritorious Artist Thanh Quy), who sells vermicelli noodles and raises 3 daughters alone after her husband's early death. When the 3 daughters, Van Khanh (Lan Phuong), Van Trang (Huyen Lizzie), Van Van (Ngoc Huyen) are grown up, their private lives are full of problems. Although often talkative, nagging, short-tempered, but with selflessness and boundless love, Mrs. Nga has always been a firm support for her brother and daughters.
The film 11 Months and 5 Days (directors: Le Do Ngoc Linh, Nguyen Duc Hieu) is of a different nuance. The film revolves around Tue Nhi (Kha Ngan), a young woman from a wealthy family who is determined to leave the land of Saigon for the North to build a career. However, with her impulsive, hot-headed and childish personality, Nhi has encountered many problems in life. Deciding to live independently, Nhi moves into a boarding house and meets new friends Dang (Thanh Son), Long (Ha Trung), Thuc Anh (Luong Thanh) and Mrs. Van (Van Dung). It is here that strangers unconsciously become an integral part of Nhi's life, and the things that happen during this time also make Nhi more mature.
Belonging to the political-criminal film series, Dou Tri (Directors: Meritorious Artists Nguyen Danh Dung, Bui Quoc Viet, Nguyen Duc Hieu) was inspired by current events, serious corruption cases related to bidding for medical products, exposing many intrigues and deceptions, clandestine activities of "white-collar" criminal groups and alliances of interests between businesses and officials. 74 episodes is a story about the fight against those who have money, power, status, knowledge, conspiracy, tricks who lobby against the investigative agency. Captain Le Anh Vu (Thanh Son) and his colleagues of the Economic Police Department always persevered and fought to the end not to let the criminals go free.
In addition to the above three hot movies, the TV series also has other outstanding works such as: Then 30 Years Later, Heaven's Net, Destiny, After a Moment of Passion, Life Habits, Quan's Wife... The judges will select the most deserving works to be awarded the gold, silver and consolation prizes at this year's festival.
The opening ceremony of the 41st Vietnam Television Festival will be broadcast live on Hai Phong Radio and Television and livestreamed on VTVGo on the evening of March 15. The Closing Ceremony and Award Ceremony will be broadcast live on VTV1 at 20:10 on March 18. Please be sure to tune in!
