The biennial award will be presented to works in seven fields, including economic development, security - national defence, State management, creative communication, art - literature, science - technology, and creative start-ups.
Up to 70 awards will be granted to winners, with the first prize valued at 200 million VND, the second prize worth 150 million VND and the third prize of 100 million VND.
Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Committee of Emulation and Rewards Nguyen Hoang Hung said that the award aims to encourage and create conditions for agencies, units, businesses and people of all classes to participate in creative activities promoting socio-economic development and international integration, as well as ensuring defence and security in Ho Chi Minh City.
The award presentation ceremony is scheduled to take place on September 2, 2023. Entries should be submitted to the organising board before March 31, 2023.
Throughout the previous seasons, the Ho Chi Minh City Innovation Award received more than 300 projects and solutions with practical value, contributing to solving urgent problems in the building and development of Ho Chi Minh City.
